FOUNDER & CEO

Ziad is specialised in mathematically modelling complex systems and optimising industrial processes. At Veridi Technologies, his role is to create commercial partnerships and coordinate product development.

FOUNDER & CTO

Richard was a lecturer in microbiology and molecular biology at TU Delft and a researcher at the Kavli Institute of nanoscience. At Veridi Technologies, he is responsible for the research and development efforts.

ANGEL INVESTOR & CSO

With a PhD plant pathology. and 34 years with Bayer, Joachim worked 16 different jobs in more than 7 different countries before becoming the CEO of Bayer Vegetable Seeds , which then became part of BASF as result of Bayer's Monsanto acquisition. Retired since 2019 and still enthusiastic about agriculture and nutrition, he is now involved as an angel investor in multiple different startups.

Solutions Architect

Since entering the field of data science, he has led multiple data science projects as a consultant for large multinationals with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry. At Veridi, Vojtech is in charge of coordinating our UI, Cloud & Machine Learning operations.

MENTOR

Huub Beelen is a recently retired general manager at Limagrain Benelux. With a long tenure in the breeding business, in the position of general manager and marketing manager, he knows the sector like no other. Aside from his in depth sector knowledge he is very skilled in business strategy, management and marketing.

SCIENTIFIC CONSULTANT

Ferhat is a molecular biologist by training with a taste for electronics, programming and computers in general. He has experience in developing algorithms that automatically analyse microscope images relevant to biological studies. He is currently an associate scientist at DSM and advises Veridi on microscopy and microbiology.
