Veridi Presents at the First European Mission Soil Investment Forum in Brussels

Veridi took the stage at the first European Mission Soil Investment Forum in Brussels, in a session chaired by Dr. Luis Sánchez Álvarez, to address one of the field's biggest open questions: how do we allocate public and private capital to regenerate soils at scale?

The session brought together initiatives working on soil health from different angles — regenerative agriculture, carbon farming, and digital tools. The consensus: without trusted, comparable indicators, mobilising capital for soil regeneration remains difficult.

Turning Soil Data into Farming Decisions

Backed by the European Innovation Council, Veridi's AI-powered platform automates the diagnosis of Nematode Based Indices (NBIs) — widely regarded as the strongest available indicator of soil biodiversity, supported by more than 600 independent peer-reviewed papers and over 30 years of research.

In her talk, Lara Del Solar shared how Veridi's NEMASCOPE® platform democratises access to soil biodiversity and carbon cycling measurements, turning that data into more profitable and sustainable decisions for farmers and agribusinesses around the world.

Healthy Soil as an Economic Necessity

The forum’s core message was clear: healthy soil isn't just a policy goal, it's an economic necessity. Veridi was proud to bring that message to Brussels alongside EU officials, (digital) agriculture experts, and members of the Soil Mission's Living Labs network.

Thank you to Dr. Luis Sánchez Álvarez for chairing the session and inviting Veridi to speak. The conversations that followed built consensus that will help regenerate soils across the EU together.
